THE SUN’S OSCILLATION PERIOD.
The Sun has an oscillation period of exactly 160 minutes, which is exactly ONE NINTH of an Earth day!
To confirm this, here is a scan from the book – Guide to The Sun, by Kenneth J.H.Phillips (of Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Oxfordshire, UK, who has a degree in Astronomy, and a Ph.D. in Physics), published by Cambridge University Press, 1992 (first edition), page 66.
Also, here is a scan from Wikipedia confirming this oscillation period.
